Manifiesto sobre la curiosidad

“The future belongs to the curious. Curiosity makes us come alive; it fills us with wonder and the urge to discover hidden worlds. Curiosity is the engine of achievement. It’s what drives us to keep questioning, keep discovering and continuing to break new ground. As Einstein famously said ‘I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.’ Curious people search for the reality behind the façade, for what’s truly going on behind the scenes. They ask difficult questions. Albert Einstein explained further, ‘The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day.‘”

Ser curioso implica no conformarse con lo prestablecido, animarse a experimentar más allá de la realidad más inmediata pasando por alto el temor a contradecir las reglas que gobiernan nuestras vidas y nuestro entendimiento.

Ser curioso implica aceptar la maravillosa pero a veces terrorífica idea de que el mundo está plagado de diversas e infinitas posibilidades a las que podemos acceder cada vez que nos permitimos explorar un poquito más allá de los límites que conocemos.

Our imaginations are the most powerful tools we have, more powerful than any car, airplane or rocket because it’s our imaginations that create the car, airplane or rocket. Imagination has practical benefits – but it needs to be nurtured and maintained. Where are you going? To hat extent can you shape your own destiny? Any one us, at any time, can change our future by asking, ‘Who do I want to be in ten years?’ and ‘Where’s the limit of what’s possible?”
